第五屆「礦山藝術季」以「每個人都是一座礦山」為題，實踐「礦山藝術季」以水金九聚落居民為主體的定位，透過當代藝術共創的過程打開想像力與好奇心的感官場域。礦山不只有金礦，如果人是文化的載體，「文化之礦」最關鍵的元素就是人，礦山作為一個詩意的象徵，它給我們的啟示是向礦工般勇敢的往內、往外去發掘屬於自己的「大著金」。「每個人都是一座礦山」向知曉礦山文化的在地居民學習，邀請具有鑿琢與轉譯文化的藝術家帶路，號召文化礦工們走出博物館，探尋山城聚落裡的寶貴的「文化之礦」。
